The Corporation works in close coordination with the City of Citronelle including Mayor Jason Stringer, the Citronelle City Council, and the Citronelle Planning Commission to align revitalization efforts with municipal infrastructure plans and priorities.
Our Mission
Downtown Citronelle Revitalization Corporation is dedicated to restoring the historic heart of Citronelle by blending preservation with innovation, creating a vibrant downtown destination where local business, culture, and community heritage thrive for generations to come!
We envision a Downtown where vibrant public spaces serve as the community’s living room, anchored by the William Bartram Plaza. By integrating heritage-focused design with functional gathering spots, we aim to provide a family-friendly environment where residents can enjoy local events, sit on the benches, and experience the beauty of restored historic materials.
These activated spaces will bridge the gap between our rich past and a thriving future, fostering a sense of pride for every resident and visitor.
